![]() Even though Percy Jackson is a relatively older series, and Riordan has done much better with his newer books, the already existing characters are delightful and full of personality. The characters of the Percy Jackson universe are a particular favorite of mine. However, it still does a good job of leaving enough room for future installments to this fantastical world. It delivers on some setups that have been laid down throughout, and even cleanly deals with new threats introduced in this book alone. My overall thoughts about this book: it’s good, it’s an inspirational, action-packed, and emotional finale to a remarkable series. Riordan has taken us through a whirlwind of adventures with their emotional ups and downs. It is the final book in a five book series, so a lot has been built up in the previous four adventures. Going into The Last Olympian, there are a lot of expectations and dread. ![]()
